Daberath

Easton's Bible Dictionary

Pasture, a Levitical town of Issachar (Josh 19:12; 21:28), near the border of Zebulum. It is the modern small village of Deburich, at the base of Mount Tabor. Tradition has incorrectly made it the scene of the miracle of the cure of the lunatic child (Matt 17:14).

International Standard Bible Encyclopedia

dab'-e-rath (ha-dabherath, "pasture"; Dabeiroth): A city in the territory of Issachar, on the boundary between that tribe and Zebulun (Josh 19:12). It was assigned to the Gershonite Levites (Josh 21:28; 1 Chr 6:72). The most probable identification is with Dabuiriyeh, a village on the lower western slopes of Tabor.
